About us
We are sold out for Jesus, his kingdom and his purposes, pure and simple. There’s a verse in the Bible that says, “I’m not ashamed of the Gospel!” – that sums us up. The word “gospel” means “good news” and we believe the gospel of Jesus is the best news there is! Our aim as a church is to know Jesus better and tell everyone about him!
We Believe
The Bible is perfect, powerful and true – it gives us all we need to live the life God has for us
(2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 119:160)
God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit
(Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Corinthians 3:16)
We are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ – he made the way through his death and resurrection
(Acts 4:12; John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8)
Jesus is coming back again and he will judge all right and wrong (Acts 1:11; Revelation 22:12)
We should live lives that reflect Jesus
(1 Peter 1:15-16; Romans 12:1)
We are baptised in water as a symbol of new life
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38).
The Holy Spirit empowers us in telling people about Jesus and in encouraging and strengthening the church
(Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:7).

At Connect Church, we take safeguarding very seriously. We work hard to ensure our church is a safe environment for everyone who walks through the door, especially children and vulnerable adults. If you ever have any concerns, please feel free to raise them with the leadership team.
